Virginia

At the end of October, we spent a week exploring the area surrounding our dock slip in Portsmouth, Virginia. We celebrated two monumental events there: Keala's birthday and Halloween. We also explored the Jamestown Settlement, Jamestown National Park, Colonial Williamsburg, and the Virginia Beach Aquarium. We were busy while we were there! It was a wonderful "boat school" stop, as it allowed us to learn about an important place and time in American history. 

But the story continues the same way it did in the Chesapeake, it started to get COLD! So it was time to head south to Charleston, SC.
