Exploring Meeks Patch

You never know what you will find when you jump into the water! Recently, the crew of Summer Kai explored Meeks Patch, a small island off the coast of Eluthera in Bahamas. We spent a few days with some of our boat friends exploring the beaches, hiking and swimming in the warm water. We also had the opportunity to explore the reefs surrouding the island. There was an abundance of life in shallow water which made it easy for everyone to snorkel. We saw a Nurse Shark, Lionfish, a Banded Coral Shrimp and a whole host of other creatures. The clear water and brilliant colors will take your breath away. We hope the short video below helps you to imagine swimming in the warm Bahamian water and takes a bit of the mid-winter chill away. Enjoy and feel free to comment below.

The snorkeling and exploration around Meeks Patch sound incredible, especially with such clear water and diverse marine life. It’s fascinating how a small island can offer so much to discover. For anyone who enjoys adding a personal touch to outdoor gear, a personalized patch maker can also be a great way to create custom patches inspired by memorable adventures and destinations.
